DTC was retained as part of the development team for the redevelopment of nearly 80 new townhouse style residential units located in New Haven, Connecticut.
This project was developed over two phases with DTC providing civil, environmental, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services.
The development consisted of over 4,000 feet of new city streets designed to include traffic calming measures such as roundabouts, recessed parking, speed humps, and traffic tables.
The new city streets incorporated new storm and sanitary sewer sewers, as well as new gas, water, electric, and cable TV systems.
Nearly 90,000 CY of earth moving activities was required in order to provide for a more level site, suited to the design style and density required under the development program.
