DTC provided landscape architecture and civil engineering services for the renovation of the 250,000 sq. ft. Fairfield Warde High School in Fairfield, CT.

DTC’s land development group, which consists of civil engineers and landscape architects, prepared an environmentally friendly site plan for this project.

Site improvements included:

  • A separate parent drop off area
  • Bus drop-off area
  • 550 parking spaces
  • State-of-the-art sports complex
  • Updating to the storm water management and collection system
  • Improvements to the utility services

The plan also included improvements to the Town’s Inland Wetland regulated area.

The sports complex includes a new synthetic-turf multi-purpose field with a six-lane/400-meter resilient surface track, handicap accessible grandstand seating for 1200 and modular press box with wheel-chair lift.

The tennis courts along with the practice soccer and football fields were both reconstructed.
