DTC develops creative site plans for large institutional projects where multi-phased, constrained or complex site issues need to be addressed effectively. Our expertise extends from conceptual feasibility to construction administration with keen attention to alternatives analysis, regulatory requirements and the natural setting. We take pride in creating proactive solutions to the land use permitting process to meet the necessary time frame for fast-track projects. In the execution of these services, traffic, drainage, grading, landscaping and access/parking issues are addressed in close association with our affiliated in-house building systems disciplines, the architect and the client.
Harrison Park and Streetscape, Town/Village of Harrison, New York
The park side setting, which is adjacent to John A. Passidomo Park, includes a neighborhood shopping and restaurant district servicing the local community as well as transient commuters. The design strives to identify the firehouse as a central community element with decorative paving treatments in the street, as well as in perimeter walks; ornamental lighting, seating and seasonal landscaping are also included.

In conjunction with the streetscape improvements, DTC developed the Master Plan for the enhancement of the adjacent town park, which was subsequently accepted by the Town and designed by DTC. The $8 million program will include a synthetic turf playing field (the first phase of which is currently out to bid), reconstruction of multi-use fields, construction of a new pool facility, enhancement of passive park facilities (picnic area & chiildren's playground), new tennis courts, a recretion/community center and expansion of existing parking areas.
