Mr. Hammersley has provided management of legislative affairs operations and program management serving in the Legislative Branch as well as numerous Executive Branch agencies.

Mr. Hammersley’s strong background in government relations and project/program management has been utilized most recently as the program manager of the Connecticut Transportation Strategy Board. In this capacity, Mr. Hammersley actively managed the strategic process, both supervising and participating in the development, presentation and advocacy of the State of Connecticut’s short and long term plan for multi-modal transportation. Mr. Hammersley was the primary advocate for the successful securitization of multi-billion dollar legislation which provided for numerous improvement and enhancements to Connecticut’s transportation infrastructure.

Mr. Hammersley’s exceptional communication and interpersonal skills have cultivated strong working relationships with elected officials and government executives at the Federal, State, regional and municipal levels of government as well as private-sector business leaders. Mr. Hammersley has demonstrated an inherent ability to navigate obstacles to achieve successful implementation and realization of stated goals and objectives, especially in fast-paced environments. In addition, Mr. Hammersley is a versatile individual with expertise in many public policy arenas including environmental issues, energy and technology issues and transportation policy with a specialty in maritime and aviation issues.
