Wallingford School Renovations
Wallingford, CT
DTC worked closely with Jeter Cook & Jepson Architects, Inc. (JCJ) of Hartford and the Wallingford School Building Committee to address a myriad of issues concerning the Wallingford School Renovations. They were able to meet and deal with educational specifications for facility design and School Facilities Unit issues in an effort to upgrade and expand school facilities in the Town of Wallingford.
The key to this project was meeting the $62 million budget cap, which meant refining site and structural designs to maintain costs and scheduling. The renovations and additions are scheduled to be made to 11 of Wallingford's 12 schools and will be completed in three phases of approximately equal dollar value. The first phase includes two school facilities, the second phase will consist of four, and the remaining five will make up phase three.
