Griffin Hospital Cancer Center - Ambulatory Care Center

Griffin Hospital is planning a $22-million building project for which DTC is providing all site/civil (parking areas, stormwater management, utility design, water and sewer design) and survey services in conjunction with The S/L/A/M Collaborative. The hospital has acquired several parcels of land, totaling three acres and the new building will be erected on land adjacent to property the hospital owns.
The 40,000 SF free-standing building will combine a cancer treatment center focusing on radiation therapy with an ambulatory care facility. In addition, the facility will allow the relocation of some departments and physicians’ offices from the main hospital to the new building, freeing up space for the expansion of the emergency services department in the main hospital building.
