Connecticut-Convention-Center

Project Overview

One of the largest public and private spending packages ever launched in Connecticut encompasses a mixed use program of convention center, hotel, residential, shopping and support attractions on the Connecticut River.

DTC served with BVH’s engineers in a unique consortium to address the fast track project schedule being managed by TVS Architects for the State Office of Policy and Management.

DTC provided mechanical, electrical and fire protection design, and landscape architecture for more than 1,000,000 square feet of the project including a two-level parking garage, a five-level parking garage and ancillary areas.

The convention center also includes a ballroom, exhibition hall, presentation rooms and links to the adjacent hotel.
