DTC Announces Promotions
North Haven - On February 7, 2005, Murali Atluru, PhD. PE and Chairman of the Board announced two promotions at Diversified Technology Consultants' annual meeting held January 29, 2005. A. Graham Curtis, P.E., has been named Executive Vice President. Mr. Curtis has a twenty-year career in major civil works and facility improvements, the last 10 at DTC where he will now assume responsibility for all technical engineering functions at the North Haven, CT, headquarters as well as New London, CT and Andover, MA offices.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BS and MS Civil Engineering, he is also a registered professional engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts, a LEED certified professional and is a candidate for an MBA at his alma mater.
Mr. Curtis has been active in the town of Madison, CT for such public interests as the high school building committee and the golf course committee. He is a current member of the town's Plan Implementations committee and he coaches recreational basketball and soccer in the town.
Jon T. Walworth, P.E., was promoted to Associate. Capping a 36-year career on notable public works, land use, transportation and institutional projects, he was previously a Senior Associate with an ENR 500 Architectural/Engineering firm and Vice President with an ENR Top 100 design/build developer. Mr. Walworth has been with DTC for over five years and will assume expanded responsibilities in the management of special planning projects and leading the firm's overall business development strategy.
Mr. Walworth is a registered professional engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts and holds memberships in the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Connecticut Society of Civil Engineers and the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
Mr. Walworth has served his community on three building committees overseeing a one million gallon community pool and 12 school projects totaling $100,000,000, and Commissioner for the Wallingford Parks and Recreation Commission. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Gaylord Hospital and previously served on the Board of MidState Medical Center.
