DTC Staff Earn Leed™ Certification
North Haven, Conn. --- DTC is pleased to announce that one of its vice presidents, Thomas R.
Tavella, RLA, ASLA has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council
as a LEED™ Accredited Professional.
The USGBC's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED™)
program serves as the organization's primary vehicle for promoting sustainable
design and construction. It was developed in 1995 to respond to the U.S.
market's demand for a definition of "green building."
As a LEED™
Accredited Professional, Mr. Tavella has demonstrated his understanding
of the importance of integrated design and the need to consider interactions
between all the sustainable design elements that come together to create
enduring, green buildings. Mr. Tavella's accreditation compliments DTC's
outstanding credentials and reputation for design excellence.
