DTC designed the entire structure as well as the complete infrastructure that supports the new high school including water distribution and metering, fire protection, access roads and parking, storm and sanitary sewers as well as coordination of utilities. As part of that process, DTC evaluated the cost for development of an on-site subsurface disposal system versus extending the municipal sewer system to the site. Once the Town elected to purse the latter, DTC designed a major pump station and force main to connect to the municipal system.
The new facility features a number of learning centers including a state-of-the-art Agriscience Center with well-equipped greenhouses, large and small animal labs, floral shop, agricultural engineering lab and environmental land lab. The campus also supports excellent athletic facilities. |
